Storyline: A teenage girl navigates her budding romantic feelings towards her best friend while grappling with the highs and lows of adolescence, from awkward yet loving conversations with her mother to angsty high school parties.
Rate: Negotiable between producers and talent/talent management barring state-implemented minimum wage laws and SAG-AFTRA rules for deferred pay.

[CLAIRE] Female lead. Late teens to early 20s. Awkward, lost, but loyal and warm to the people she's close to. In denial about her identity, struggles with conformity. Only child to a single mother. Must balance external awkwardness with internal warmth.
[NOAH] Female supporting role. Late teens to early 20s. Suave, witty, sarcastic, uses humor as a coping mechanism. Must balance playful flirtation with grounded care for Claire.
[LINDA] Late 40s to early 60s, female. Single mom, very accepting and supportive of Claire, her only daughter. A strong sense of humor, a free spirit.
[SUMMER] Late teens to early 20s, female. A friend of Claire's. A true hippie child, she's a free spirit and marches to the beat of her own drum. Head always up in the clouds. A girl's girl at heart but also a diehard instigator.
[JAMES] Late teens to early 20s, male. A quick flirtation of Noah's. Kind of a bad boy, good style, confident in ways that makes Claire jealous.
