Inspired by the myths surrounding Artemis—a goddess defined by her demand for independence— Fifty Hounds explores themes of women’s agency, power, and illusions of choice.

Deliberately written to blur power and perception, Fifty Hounds allows Diana to believe she is in control even as the story is decided for her. This tension exposes the illusion of agency, until a final, violent recalibration of power.

Stories have the power to broaden perspectives and challenge the systems that shape our world. Led by a predominantly female team, we are crafting a visceral and emotionally honest story about societal constraints placed on women. By weaving together myth and film, we reimagine ancient narratives surrounding the inherent powers of womanhood, using them as a lens to add urgency to conversations about female autonomy—over one’s body and one’s future.
